Our stories are born from the minds of budding and professional storytellers and developed through a collaborative process designed to cultivate creative, inspiring and unique
feature-length films and web-based promotional videos.


Main Project Highlights 




Produced by Dimitri William Moore, "Taking Park City," follows the journey of two Columbia film alumni, Norman Franklin ('10) & Tanya Savard ('10), as they navigate the rough terrain of the entertainment industry via the gateway lenses of the Sundance Film Festival. The expedition uncovers high expectations, high stakes, and high drama as these burgeoning filmmakers make the most of opportunities to get noticed and make a splash with industry elite.

A very talented poet came to town to perform at a conference. It goes so well that people request video of her. She calls me on Thursday. We film on Friday. Start editing on Sunday. By Tuesday the completed video is online. Proud to have worked with the very talented and soulful Kirya Yvonne Traber





A collaboration with Raw Talent/Making Waves of Richmond, Ca encouraging their community to be aware of the impending Soda Tax vote and the health improvements the debate inspires.

 
 


 
Two of over 60 videos filmed, edited and posted to social media (most within an hour of each event) over a five day period for the Brave New Voices international slam poetry festival in Berkeley and Oakland, California. All videos from the festival can be viewed on the Brave New Voices website.

Biography
Dimitri has over ten years of experience as an independent producer with several short films, music & promotional videos and a documentary to his credit.

Currently he works as a freelance producer, videographer and editor creating  promos and PSA's to promote businesses and poets while developing narrative feature films with artists all over the Bay Area.

He joined Free Spirit Media in fall of 2011 as the first Producer of Special Projects and was tasked with engaging advanced youth of the program to enhance their skills producing client-based media content.

He volunteers as the Chairman of the Illinois Leadership Seminars, an organization that develops the leadership potential of high school sophomores across the state of Illinois. He was a student of the program in 1998.

He received his B.A. in Film & Video producing from Columbia College Chicago where he also worked full-time from 2001-2011 in event management, Film & Video advising, and managing the DanceAfrica Chicago festival.
